Kerberos is a computer network authentication
protocol, which allows individuals communicating over a non-secure
network to prove their identity to one another in a secure manner. Its
design is based on client-server model.It provides mutual
authentication: as both the user and the server verify each other's
identity. Kerberos protocol messages are protected against
eavesdropping and replay attacks.
A Information Disclosure Vulnerability has been identified in KerberosV5 KDC
1.6.3 and prior. This issue is due to a failure in the applicatiton to clear
the unused portion of a buffer when generating an error message.
An attacker can take advantage of this issue get sensitive information.
