iPolicy Networks Expands Intrusion Prevention Firewall Product Suite

FREMONT, Calif., - August 30, 2004 - iPolicy Networks, inventor of the Intrusion Prevention Firewall for real-time network protection, today announced it has expanded its enterprise and carrier product family with the introduction of the iPolicy 2000, iPolicy 3000 and iPolicy 4000 series designed to address a broad range of network-security and performance needs, from branch-offices to large enterprises and carriers. These new Intrusion Prevention Firewall products that provide performance up to multi-gigabit throughput levels employ iPolicy Networks’ patent-pending, Single Pass Inspection Engine™ architecture to successfully block today’s increasingly sophisticated threats, with no compromise to network performance, both data throughput and latency.

iPolicy Networks’ Intrusion Prevention Firewall incorporates multiple firewall defense mechanisms including stateful firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, DoS and DDoS mitigation, URL filtering, VPN, and antivirus/antispam intrinsically built into the firewall, thereby eliminating security holes. The Single Pass Inspection Engine enables these multiple security defense mechanisms to run concurrently, effectively safeguarding network integrity even at high throughput. The iPolicy 3000 series is a good fit for medium-to-large enterprises or to secure major satellite operations for global enterprises. The iPolicy 3000 series perform at levels of up to 350 Mbps peak performance with three Gigabit Ethernet copper interfaces, providing flexible connectivity options.

iPolicy 4000 series
The iPolicy 4000 series deliver comprehensive security for enterprises on a 2U platform. These platforms are designed to meet the most demanding enterprise requirements, delivering up to 2 Gbps peak performance with three Gigabit Ethernet copper interfaces providing flexible connectivity options.
